Event description

Join Sophie Taboni and Nicolas Catherin during this online discussion around their interactive tale Ici tout va bien, recipient of the Digital Challenge prize of the Angoulême Comic Festival in 2018. Discover the creative processes they have developed to share their adventures to friends and family making use of their respective passions – photography for Nicolas and illustration for Sophie – and the new narrative means they elaborated to captivate their readership and to break with the traditional linearity of the road trip. If their subtle nonchalance, refreshing humour, crispy anecdotes and fictional stories thrilled you, hesitate no more and take part in the talk!

Short bio

Nicolas Catherin and Sophie Taboni are two French digital designers. In 2015, they decided to move to Melbourne and discover a new continent. On their way back to France, they decided to travel for 4 months around New Zealand, Australia and Vanuatu. They chose to tell their journey through photography and drawings. Ici tout va bien (‘everything is doing well here’) is a hybrid travel journal and digital comic which came out of this 4-month trip in Oceania.
